There is nothin worse for me as a Berliner as a Döner from the microwave.

There was a Czechoslovak knock-off of the Viewmaster called Meoskop, and the reels were wholly compatible with the original Viewmaster. Reels for kids weren't much of a thing - they were generally touristy kind of reels about Prague, Dubrovnik etc. But there was a certain Czech speciality that now enjoys a certain popularity with collectors - nudes. Yes, they actually did reels of nude girls, and they are quite charmingly 1960s looking - all bums, boobs and bouffants. I've got a reel given away as a promotional thing by a clock manufacturing plant featuring topless girls holding up alarm clocks.

You're right that eating chalk would be a good source of calcium - but also slightly wrong, because we actually do eat chalk, or near enough: If you have ever taken antacid tablets (such as Tums or Rennie), you have most likely eaten calcium carbonate, which is essentially high purity, pharmaceutical grade chalk. So yes, if you happen to be on the beach near Dover and are stricken with heartburn style indigestion so bad that you can't get to a pharmacy quickly enough, you could in principle treat yourself by taking a bite (albeit a very small bite) out of the cliffs. Not that I am particularly recommending that as an ideal option, but it would do the job. Of course you might not consider antacid tablets to be food in the strictest sense, though they do genuinely provide a source of bio-available (aka absorbable) calcium if you do take one. We can do better than that though: Look at the ingredients on any bag of pre-packaged and pre-sliced bread, and you will almost certainly find that the wheat flour used to make the bread has had calcium carbonate added to it. Not enough for bread to work as an antacid, but certainly enough to provide children with the daily calcium supplement they need to grow their bones, provided that they eat a couple of slices every day.

We have the mighty BIG AZ burger Stateside. Often found in gas stations and vending machines. Not as complicated to say the least. You throw it in the microwave, wrapper-and-all for a minute and a half and voila! A big, juicy mystery meat cheeseburger feast! They are actually huge. Two will put me in a food coma but once in a while I get an itch that only crappy gas station food can scratch, so it's a guilty pleasure.
